It’s being reported that the UFC has found Kevin Lee a new opponent for the promotion’s upcoming card in Las Vegas.

Lee was originally booked to fight rising welterweight Sean Brady at the August 28th event. But, recently it was reported Brady has withdrawn due to an undisclosed injury.

More recently, Cage Side Press was the first to report that multiple sources have confirmed Rodriguez has agreed to fight Lee on that date.

Lee (18-6) hasn’t competed since March, 2020, when he was submitted by now, current, lightweight champ Kevin Lee.

Rodriguez (15-2) is coming off a stoppage win over Preston Parsons last month, and has won back-to-back fights.

The UFC Vegas card will be headlined by a featherweight fight between Edson Barboza and Giga Chikadze.
