Report: Daniel Strauss Out of Bellator 95 Title Fight With Pat Curran Due to Broken Hand
By FCF Staff
An injury has forced Bellator to postpone another title fight, as Daniel Strauss has reportedly broken his hand in a recent training session, and as result, will not fight featherweight champion Pat Curran on April 4th.
The injury to Strauss, who hasn’t fought since October when he tapped out Alvin Robinson at Bellator 78 in October, is being reported by MMA Junkie.
The 28 year-old Strauss (21-4) earned a shot at Curran last year, by scoring wins over Jeremy Spoon, Mike Corey and Marlon Sandro.
Bellator 95 is set to take place at the Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The reported injury to Strauss has yet to be confirmed by Bellator.
