Following their thrilling fight last December, it’s being reported that the expected rematch between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno has been booked.

The fighters battled at UFC 256 and Figueiredo retained the flyweight championship via a majority draw. Due to how competitive and exciting the bout was, the UFC let it be known a rematch would be scheduled.

More recently, ESPN  is reporting that sources have confirmed the rematch will take place on June 12th. A location and venue for the card has yet to be determined.

Figueiredo (20-1-1) has retained the flyweight title two times now. Prior to facing Moreno, the champion quickly submitted Alex Perez in November. The noted finisher won the belt in July, by choking out longtime contender, Joseph Benavidez.

Moreno (18-5-2) has gone undefeated in four straight bouts and secured a title shot in November, by stopping Brandon Royval.
