As the UFC continues to book fights for its spring schedule, it’s being reported that Demian Maia and Gilbert Burns have agreed to battle.

The welterweights have verbally agreed to fight at the UFC’s upcoming, March 14th card in Brasilia, according to a report from MMA Junkie and an initial report from Combate.

The 42-year-old Maia (28-9) choked out Ben Askren in his last outing and the vaunted grappler has won three in a row.

The 33-year-old Burns (17-3), meanwhile, recorded a decision victory over contender Gunnar Nelson in his last fight. The decorated jiu-jitsu competitor has won four straight.
