The UFC has reportedly booked its headliner for the January 27th, UFC on FOX 27 card, as “Jacare” Souza and Derek Brunson will battle for a second time.

ESPN was the first to report the match-up, and MMA Fighting has also been informed by sources that the fight is being targeted for the card.

Souza quickly knocked out Brunson on a Strikeforce event, back in 2012. More recently, however, Souza (24-5) was stopped by Robert Whittaker, and Brunson (18-5) knocked out Lyoto Machida.

Brunson is currently ranked #7 in the UFC’s 185 division, and Souza is sitting in the #5 spot.

UFC on FOX 27 will be hosted by Charlotte, North Carolina.
