A few weeks removed from being released by the UFC, it’s being reported that Diego Sanchez has cut professional ties with the much-discussed and controversial coach, Joshua Fabia.

Sanchez was let go by the UFC in late April, following a dispute over his medical records, which prompted Dana White to blast Fabia.

According to a report from MMA Fighting, Sanchez has confirmed that Fabia is no longer his coach or manager.  Sanchez’s attorney, Charles Lakins, has also reportedly confirmed that the fighter has ended any business relationship he had with Fabia.

Earlier this month, the 39-year-old Sanchez claimed he was fearful for his life, after he and Fabia publicly aired their grievances with the UFC.  Sanchez had been scheduled to fight Donald Cerrone on May 8, before being released by the UFC.

Since then, Sanchez had reported he was back in discussions with the UFC, and that he had agreed to enroll in a brain study for professional athletes.
