Report: Frankie Edgar No Longer Fighting at UFC 218
By FCF Staff
Less than a month away from UFC 218, it’s being reported that Frankie Edgar will no longer fight Max Holloway at the event, due to injury.
Edgar was scheduled to fight the featherweight champion at the December 2nd card, but multiple outlets have confirmed that he’s withdraw due to injury, after an initial report from Combate.
The UFC has yet to confirm the injury, and it’s not clear at this juncture if Holloway will still compete at the Detroit event.
The 36 year-old Edgar is coming off back-to-back wins over Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens.
