Frankie Edgar

By FCF Staff

A bantamweight fight between Frankie Edgar and Pedro Munhoz has reportedly been moved again, and this time, the bout will serve as a headliner.

The fighters were originally scheduled to fight on July 15th in Abu Dhabi, but Munhoz tested positive for COVID-19 and the match-up was postponed.

Then the fight was rescheduled for August 15th at UFC 252. But, now ESPN is reporting that Edgar – Munhoz has been moved again to August 22nd.

The fight will reportedly headline the UFC’s Fight Night card that night, which is expected to take place at the Apex Facility in Las Vegas.

Edgar (23-8-1) has yet to compete since he was stopped by featherweight contender Chan Sung Jung last December.

Munhoz (18-4), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since June, 2018, when he lost via decision to Aljamain Sterling.
