Following Tyron Woodley’s title cinching win on Saturday, the welterweight champ said he’d like to fight Georges St-Pierre, and it looks like the feeling’s mutual.

Woodley KO’d Robbie Lawler in the opening round at UFC 201. Afterwards, he told the UFC’s Megan Olivi he’d like to fight Nick Diaz or St-Pierre next. According to a follow up report by MMA Fighting.com, when St-Pierre was reached by text, and asked if he’s interested in fighting Woodley, the response was “yes”. When asked whether he wanted that fight, the response was “yes”.

GSP hasn’t fought since 2013 when he announced he was taking a hiatus from the sport. In recent months the Canadian star has said he’s ready to come back to the Octagon, provided a new deal with the UFC can be reached.
