A fight between Rafael dos Anjos and Islam Makhachev has been canceled again, as it’s being reported that the latter has withdrawn from UFC Vegas 14.

Makhachev was scheduled to fight dos Anjos in the November 14th, main-event, which would have marked the first time he’s headlined a UFC card. But, ESPN is reporting that according to sources, Makhachev has been forced to withdraw due to an undisclosed injury.

The UFC is reportedly looking for a replacement opponent for dos Anjos.

The lightweights were also scheduled to fight on October 24th. But, the fight was postponed when dos Anjos tested positive for COVID-19.

Makhachev (18-1) hasn’t competed since September 2019 when he recorded a decision win over Davi Ramos.
