Report: Jason “Mayhem” Miller Misses Weight by Over 20 Pounds For Venator FC Bout
By FCF Staff
Jason “Mayhem” Miller was scheduled to fight for the first time in fours years at Venator FC 3 tomorrow night, but after missing weight by over 20 pounds, the controversial fighter may not compete.
Miller was scheduled to fight Luke Barnatt at the event, which will take place in Milan, Italy. According to a report from MMA Junkie.com, however, the UFC veteran came in at 209 pounds for the 185 pound fight. In a follow up report, it was relayed that Miller will no longer fight Barnatt as a result. The latter will now face Stefan Croitoru.
Croitoru’s original opponent, Mattia Schiavolin, has reportedly expressed an interest in fighting Miller. But, it hasn’t been confirmed yet as to whether that fight will be booked.
Since Miller’s (23-9) last bout in 2012, the 35 year-old has made headlines for several run-ins with authorities. As a result, Venator’s decision to sign Miller to fight was met with considerable scrutiny.
