UFC on FOX 25 has received a compelling, bantamweight fight, as it’s being reported that Jimmie Rivera will take on fellow contender Thomas Almeida.

The upcoming card will be held at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, July 22nd. The match-up is being reported by Newsday, however, the UFC has yet to announce the fight.

Rivera (20-1) is coming off a decision win over Urijah Faber in September, and has won all four of his UFC bouts to date.

Almeida (21-1) rebounded from a stoppage loss to Cody Garbrandt last May, by taking out Alberto Morales in the second round, this past November.

Rivera is currently ranked #4 in the UFC’s bantamweight division, while Almeida is sitting in the #9 spot.
