Report: Jimmy Hettes vs. Mike Wilkinson Likely For UFC FN 30
By FCF Staff
The Octotber 26th, UFC Fight Night 30 card continues to near completion, as featherweights Jimmy Hettes and Mike Wilkinson have reportedly agreed to fight at the event. The card will be hosted by Manchester, England’s Evening News Arena and will be broadcast on FOX Sports 2.
The bout is being reported by MMA Fighting.com, which has relayed that the fighters have verbally agreed to fight on the card.
Hettes (10-1) is coming off his first pro loss, as he dropped a unanimous decision loss to Marcus Brimage at UFC 152 last September. Prior to the defeat the noted grappler had won nine of his ten bouts via submission.
Wilkinson (8-1) is also looking to rebound from his first defeat, as the British fighter was choked out by Rony “Jason” at UFC on FUEL TV 10 in June, after scoring a UD win over Brendan Loughnane in December.
UFC Fight Night 30 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Mark Munoz, and will also feature lightweight Ross Pearson taking on Melvin Guillard in the co-main-event.
