Report: Jon Jones Has Passed Several Drug Tests Following UFC 232 Win
By FCF Staff
Jon Jones has cleared one significant hurdle in his effort to receive a license for UFC 235, as the light-heavyweight champ has reportedly passed several drug tests following his win at UFC 232 last month.
Due to an abnormal drug test result for Jones, prior to UFC 232, the December 29th card was moved from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, as Jones couldn’t receive a license in Nevada. Jones went on to stop Alexander Gustafsson at the event, and now he’s scheduled to face Anthony Smith on March 2nd in Vegas.
According to a report from ESPN, Jones has been tested by USDA and the California Commission following UFC 232, and all tests have come back negative for banned substances. Jones is scheduled for a licensing hearing with the Nevada Commission on January 29th.
