As expected would be the case, Colby Covington is going to challenge UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman one more time.

Following Usman’s knockout win over Jorge Masvidal in April, UFC President Dana White said that Covington would rematch Usman next. The two fought in December, 2019, and Usman stopped the controversial fighter in the fifth round.

More recently, ESPN is reporting that White has confirmed Usman – Covington 2 will be part of UFC 268. The event is expected to take place in November, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. But, no official date or venue has been confirmed.

Since Covington (16-2) was defeated by Usman (19-1) he has only fought once. Last September, he recorded a TKO win over former champ, Tyron Woodley.

Usman, meanwhile, has recorded two wins over Masvidal, and the champion also stopped Gilbert Burns in February.
