After weeks of speculation as to when and if Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will fight, it’s being reported that the match-up has been added to UFC 245.

Recently it was reported that the UFC was trying to add the title fight to its November 2nd card in New York City. Covington accused the UFC of unfair negotiating tactics, raising questions if the bout would get signed. But, ESPN was the first to report that sources have informed the outlet Usman – Covington has been added to the December 14th card in Las Vegas.

Usman (15-1) hasn’t competed since UFC 235 in March, when he took the welterweight title from Tyron Woodley via a clear cut, decision win.

Covington (15-1), on the other hand, is coming off a dominant decision win over Robbie Lawler in August.

UFC 245 will also feature featherweight champion Max Holloway versus Alexander Volkanovski and Amanda Nunes defending the bantamweight belt versus Germaine de Randamie.
