According to multiple reports, the Nevada State Athletic Commission will soon begin looking for a new executive director, as Keith Kizer has resigned from the position. The official is reportedly taking a job with the Nevada State Attorney General’s office and will leave the commission on January 27th.
In a follow up report from the Las Vegas Review Journal, Kizer was quoted saying that “it’s time to move on”, and NAC chairman Francisco Aguilar relayed:
“The board is grateful to Keith for his nearly eight years of dedicated service, which included the commission’s strongest years with regard to health and safety and fiscal soundness. My fellow commissioners and I wish Keith all the best in his new role.”
The 47 year-old Kizer has been the NSAC Executive Director since 2006.
