One of the jiu-jitsu world’s top competitors will make his MMA debut before the year is out, as Real Fight Championship has reportedly announced that Kron Gracie will fight at the promotion’s December 23rd event.

Gracie’s opponent has yet to be determined, but according to a report from MMA in Asia.com, the BJJ champ will fight at the Tokyo bound event. Gracie’s father, the legendary Rickson Gracie, has also confirmed to MMA Fighting that his son will compete at the upcoming card.

The 26 year-old will be fighting at 155 pounds.

Gracie won a bronze medal for the 77 kilogram division at the 2011 ADCC Submission Wrestling Championships, and a gold medal in the 77kg division at last year’s ADCC competition.
