Report: Kyle Kingsbury Returning to Action at UFC on FOX 12
By FCF Staff
Kyle Kingsbury has reportedly elected to not hang up the gloves, and will return to action at UFC on FOX 12.
The 32 year-old’s future had been uncertain as a result of a three fight losing streak. On Wednesday’s “UFC Tonight”, however, it was announced Kingsbury will fight again on July 26th. The light-heavyweight’s opponent has yet to be determined.
Prior to his recent losses, Kingsbury (11-5) had won four straight, which included victories over Razak Al-Hassan, Jared Hamman, Ricardo Romero and Fabio Maldonado.
Kingsbury hasn’t fought since September, 2012, when he was TKO’d (via doctor stoppage) by Jimi Manuwa.
The American Kickboxing Academy fighter, and TUF 8 vet, made his UFC debut in 2008.
UFC on FOX 12 will be hosted by the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
