Report: Lee Mein Pleads Not Guilty to Recent Charge
By FCF Staff
Lee Mein, the father and coach of UFC welterweight Jordan Mein, has reportedly pleaded not guilty to a charge that was brought against him by Tulsa, Oklahoma authorities in August.
Mein was charged with one count of sexual battery last month, in connection to an alleged incident in Tulsa, where UFC Fight Night 49 was held. The veteran fighter and trainer was accused of assaulting a female housekeeper at the UFC’s host hotel.
Mein was prevented from cornering Jordan at the event, who went on to stop Mike Pyle in the opening round.
According to a follow report from MMA Fighting.com, Mein insists he is innocent and has plead not guilty to the charge.
The 47 year-old is the head coach and owner of the Canadian Martial Arts Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta.
