Recently Luke Rockhold said that the UFC needed to improve its offer, before he agreed to fight Chris Weidman again at UFC 230, and it looks like that’s happened.

Not long ago, reports surfaced that the promotion  was hoping to add Rockhold – Weidman 2 to the UFC’s November 3rd card in New York City. Rockhold, however, recently said he wouldn’t be fighting, unless the “right contract” was tabled.

More recently, however, ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported that Rockhold has come to an agreement with the UFC for the Weidman bout, and that it should be finalized soon. Weidman has also tweeted out that he’s signed the fight’s contract.

Rockhold took the middleweight title from Weidman back in 2015, via a fourth round, stoppage.
