It looks like the UFC has booked a pivotal match-up in the lightweight division, as it’s being reported that Magomed Ankalaev will battle Johnny Walker next.

The match-up will reportedly go down at the UFC’s October 21st card in Abu Dhabi, which is taking place at the Etihad Arena.

The bout was reported first by Vestnik MMA and MMA Junkie has also confirmed with sources that Ankalaev versus Walker has been added to UFC 294.

Ankalaev (18-1-1) hasn’t competed since December, when he battled former champ Jan Blachowicz to a draw. The Dagestani fighter is riding a 10-fight, undefeated streak.

Walker (21-7), meanwhile, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Anthony Smith in May. The Brazilian fighter has won three straight,
