Report: Managers Says Discussions Between Holly Holm And UFC Ongoing
By FCF Staff
A potential challenger for UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey could be headed to the Octagon in the coming months, as the undefeated Holly Holm is reportedly in discussions with the promotion.
Holm, who has gone 6-0 since transitioning into MMA after a decorated boxing career, is widely considered to be one of the sport’s emerging stars. Her manager, Lenny Fresquez, recently confirmed to Sherdog.com that they are still negotiating with the UFC.
Fresquez relayed that they “want two or three fights at the most” and then a showdown with Rousey. The manager also noted that despite the ongoing discussions with the promotion, they’re “not there yet”.
Holm is scheduled to Juliana Werner (7-3) at Legend Fighting Championship 30 on April 4th, which will determine the promotion’s bantamweight champ.
