The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to book fights for the promotion’s first quarter of 2024, and it’s being reported a flyweight matchup between Manel Kape and Matheus Nicolau is set.

Kape (19-6) and Nicolau (19-3-1) fought back in 2021, and the latter won the contest via split decision.

According to an initial report from Marcel Dorff, a rematch between Kape and Nicolau has been booked for January 13th. The bout will be part of a Fight Night card in Las Vegas.

MMA Fighting has also confirmed the match-up with sources.

Kape is coming off a unanimous decision win over Felipe dos Santos in September and has won three straigt.

Nicolau, meanwhile, was knocked out by Brandon Royvval in his last outing, which took place in April. The loss snapped a six-fight winning streak.

Currently, Kape is ranked #8 in the UFC’s flyweight division and Nicolau is #6.
