The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced that featherweight Manny Gamburyan will no longer compete at the promotion’s May 18th, UFC on FX 8 card due to injury, and as a result, Nik Lentz will step into fight Hacran Dias.

The card will be hosted by the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil, and will feature a middleweight bout between Vitor Belfort and Luke Rockhold in the main event.

The nature of Gamburyan’s injury was not disclosed.

Lentz (23-5-2) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Diego Nunes at UFC on FX 7 in January, after he stopped Eji Mitsuoka at UFC 150 last August. The former lightweight is 2-2 with 1 no contest in his last five bouts.

Dias (21-1-1) scored a unanimous decision victory over Iuri Alcantara at UFC 47 last June, which marked the Brazilian fighter’s Octagon debut. The featherweight has won nine straight fights.
