Report: Marlon Moraes – Petr Yan Bout in The Works
By FCF Staff
It looks like a bout between bantamweight contenders Petr Yan and Marlon Moraes could be part of the UFC’s first-ever card in Kazakhstan.
The UFC is expected to hold an event in Kazakhstan on July 13th at the Astana Arena in Nur-Sultan. Recently sources told MMA Junkie that Yan and Moraes have agreed to fight at the event. The UFC has yet to announce the bout or the event in Kazakhstan.
Moraes (23-6-1) is coming off a tightly contested, split decision win over Jose Aldo in December. The former WSOF champ has gone 4-1 in his last 5 bouts.
Yan (14-1) finished Urijah Faber in his last outing, which took place in December. The rising star has gone 6-0 to date in the UFC.
