Report: Matt Wiman Returning to UFC After Four Plus Year Hiatus

It’s being reported that Matt Wiman will return to the Octagon this summer, for the first time since 2014.
The 35-year-old veteran fighter is reportedly going to fight Luis Pena at UFC Greenville, June 22nd. The lightweight bout was initially reported by Greenville Online.
Wiman (16-7) last competed at UFC FN 57, in November, 2014, when he earned a decision win over Isaac Vallie-Flagg. Wiman is 3-2 in his last 5 contests.
Pena (6-1), meanwhile, is coming off a decision win over Steven Peterson in March.
UFC Greenville will be headlined by a featherweight bout between contenders Renato “Moicano” and Chan Sung Jung.
