Report: Michael Bisping-Tim Kennedy Fight Possible For TUF Nations Finale

Michael Bisping

By FCF Staff

After months of trash talking, it appears as though Tim Kennedy and Michael Bisping may finally settle their differences in the Octagon. The middleweight bout is reportedly being targeted for the TUF Nations Final on April 16th, which will be hosted by Quebec City.

Although the UFC has not made any official announcement about the match-up, FOX Sports.com is reporting that Bisping has verbally agreed to fight Kennedy at the event.

The British fighter recently told BT Sports that he’s been approached to fight Kennedy, but that the UFC wants him to undergo further testing on his surgically repaired eye. Bisping added that his physician has cleared him to fight.

The 34 year-old Bisping (24-5) hasn’t fought since April, 2012, when he earned a decision win over Alan Belcher.

Kennedy (17-4), meanwhile, is coming off a first round, knockout win over Rafael Natal in November.
