Report: Michael Chiesa Launches Lawsuit Against Conor McGregor
By FCF Staff
Michael Chiesa has reportedly launched a lawsuit against Conor McGregor, in connection to what took place at the media day for UFC 223 this past April.
Chiesa was supposed to fight Anthony Pettis at the event, but due to cuts he incurred during the media day incident involving McGregor, he was forced off the card. Recently TMZ reported that Chiesa has launched a lawsuit against McGregor for “assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress”.
The Barclay’s Center in New York City, where the incident took place, is also being sued for “negligence”.
In July, McGregor plead guilty to disorderly conduct, and was sentenced to five days of community service and three days of anger management. He was also required to pay restitution for the damages the bus incurred.
