The second fight of Miesha Tate’s comeback has been pushed back, as it’s being reported the former bantamweight champ has tested positive for COVID-19.

Tate was booked to fight Ketlen Vieira on October 16th, in the headliner of the UFC’s Fight Night card that day.

Recently Sherdog was the first to report that a source has confirmed Tate has contracted the coronavirus. As a result, the Vieira fight has been postponed.

The 35-year-old Tate (19-7) came out of retirement earlier this year and stopped Marion Reneau in the third-round of their July fight. The bout was Tate’s first since 2016.

The 30-year-old Vieira (11-2), meanwhile, is coming off a decision loss to Yana Kunitskaya in February.
