Report: Mirko “Cro Cop” no Longer Competing at Bellator 200

“Cro Cop”

By FCF Staff

It looks like Bellator 200 has incurred a big hit, just days out from the May 25th card, as it’s being reported that Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic has withdrawn.

“Cro Cop” was scheduled to fight Roy Nelson in the card’s main event, which would also serve as an alternate bout for Bellator’s heavyweight grand prix. According to a report from the Telegraph’s Gareth A. Davies, “Cro Cop” can no longer fight due to an undisclosed injury. It’s believed, however, the injury is to the legend’s leg.

Bellator is reportedly seeking a replacement opponent for Nelson.

The upcoming event will take place in London, England, and will feature middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho versus Gegard Mousasi.
