Report: Muhammad Mokaev to Battle Jafel Filho Next

Rising flyweight Muhammad Mokaev will return to the Octagon in 2023’s first quarter, as it’s being reported the undefeated fighter has been booked to face Jafel Filho.
The 22-year-old Mokaev (9-0), who has gone 3-0 in the UFC to date, will reportedly fight the 29-year-old Filho (14-2) at UFC 286. Filho earned a UFC contract in September with a victory on Dana White’s Contender Series.
The bout was first reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.
UFC 286 will take place on March 18th in London, England.
The card will be headlined by a rubber match between welterweight champ Leon Edwards and former champ, Kamaru Usman.
