It looks as though Nick Diaz is heading to jail for one night, as a result of a plea deal he’s reached, in connection to the DUI cases the UFC fighter was facing.

Diaz was arrested in Lodi, California last fall and charged with driving under the influence, marking the third time he had been charged with the offense. According to a report from TMZ.com on Monday, the 31 year-old has reached a plea deal with authorities, whereby he’s been sentenced to two days in jail, in exchange for having several of the charges dropped.

Diaz is reportedly being credited with a night in jail, so the renowned fighter will only have to spend one day in a detention facility. Diaz will also be on informal probation for three years and must attend a DUI educational course.

The veteran fighter is currently temporarily suspended by the Nevada Commission after testing positive for marijuana metabolites, following his decision loss to Anderson Silva in January.
