Another bout scheduled for the UFC’s upcoming events in Abu Dhabi has been canceled, as Pedro Munhoz has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

Munhoz was scheduled to fight former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar on July 15th. But, according to a report from ESPN, sources have confirmed Munhoz tested positive for the virus and so the fight is off.

Edgar, who was set to make his bantamweight debut, reportedly has not headed overseas as a result and he is not expected to compete.

The 33-year-old Munhoz (18-4) hasn’t fought since last June, when he lost via decision to Aljamain Sterling. The Brazilian fighter had won three straight before the defeat.
