It looks as though Tony Ferguson hasn’t locked up a title shot just yet, as according to reports, the surging lightweight is likely fighting former champ Rafael dos Anjos next.

The UFC is hoping to have the two fight on November 5th, at the TUF Latin America 3 Finale, according to a report from Champions.co. MMA Fighting.com has also reportedly confirmed with sources that the match-up is being targeted for that date.

Ferguson (21-3) is coming off a thrilling, submission win over Lando Vannata last month, which was his eighth straight win. “El Cucuy”is ranked #3 at 155.

Dos Anjos (25-8), meanwhile, was stopped by Eddie Alvarez at UFC FN 90 last month. Prior to that the former champ had won five in a row. RDA is ranked #2.

The TUF Latin America 3 finale is expected to take place in Mexico City.
