Report: Raphael Assuncao to Battle Raoni Barcelos Next

The UFC continues to add bouts for its quarter one of 2021, as it’s being reported that a fight betwewen Raphael Assuncao and Raoni Barcelos is set.
The Brazilian bantamweights are set to fight at a February 27th event, which has yet to have a location and venue determined. The bout was first reported by Sherdog.com.
Assuncao (27-8) is looking to end a three fight losing streak, which includes defeats to Marlon Moraes, Cory Sandhagen and most recently Cody Garbrandt.
Barcelos (16-1) is riding nine-fight winning streak, which includes fives wins under the UFC banner. In his last bout, in November, Barcelos recorded a decision win over Khalid Taha.
Assuncano is currently ranked #9 in the UFC’s bantamweight division while Barcelos has yet to break the top 15.
