The UFC continues to book bouts for its remaining, 2021 schedule, as it’s being reported Raphael Assuncao and Ricky Simon have agreed to fight.

The bantamweight bout will be part of the UFC’s December 18th card, which has yet to have a location and venue announced.

The match-up was first reported by MMA DNA.

The 39-year-old Assuncao (27-8), who is looking to end a three-fight losing skid, hasn’t competed since he was knocked out by Cody Garbrandt in June, 2020. Prior to the losses, the longtime contender had won four in a row.

The 29-year-old Simon (18-3), on the other hand, has won three straight fights. In his last outing, this past February, he recorded a decision win over Brian Kelleher.
