The UFC continues to book bouts for its 2022, first quarter, and it’s being reported that a fight between Renato Moicano and Alexander Hernandez has been set.

Moicano (15-4-1) is coming off a submission win over Jai Herbert in June, which was the former featherweight contender’s third bout at lightweight. The 32-year-old Moicano has gone 2-1 since moving up to 155 pounds.

According to an initial report from AG Fight, and a follow-up report from MMA Junkie, Moicano and Hernandez have agreed to fight at UFC 271. The card will take place on February 12 at a venue and location that has yet to be determined.

Hernandez (13-4), meanwhile, knocked out Mike Breeden earlier this month. In his bout prior, this past February, Hernandez lost via decision to Thiago Moises. The 29-year-old Hernandez has gone 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.
