It appears as though another of Strikeforce’s biggest names is UFC bound, as according to reports Robbie Lawler, is heading back to the Octagon and will fight Josh Koscheck at UFC 157 on February 23rd.

The bout would mark Lawler’s return to welterweight as well as his first UFC appearance since 2004.

The Lawler, Koscheck match-up was reported first by the Orange County Register and MMA Weekly is also reporting that the fight is a go.

The UFC has not made any official announcement regarding the bout.

The 30 year-old Lawler (19-9) has struggled somewhat as of late, as the feared striker is 2-3 in his last five bouts and is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Lorenz Larkin in July.

Koscheck (17-6) hasn’t competed since May, when the 35 year-old vet dropped a split decision loss to Johny Hendricks, after scoring wins over Matt Hughes and Mike Pierce.

UFC 157 will be hosted by Anaheim’s Honda Center and will feature women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey taking on Liz Carmouche.
