Following Ronda Rousey’s win over Alexis Davis at UFC 175 it was revealed she required some stitches on her hand, and is set to have her knee scoped, but it looks as though her injuries don’t end there.

The bantamweight champion also reportedly broke her hand in the bout, according to a new story from Yahoo Sports, which cites UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta as the source.

The executive also relayed that the promotion was considering having Rousey compete at the now canceled, UFC 176 card, but Fertitta says the promotion didn’t formally approach her about it. The UFC was forced to ditch the August 2nd card, after Jose Aldo incurred a neck injury recently in training.

In a follow up interview with FOX Sports, Fertitta said the UFC hopes to reschedule Aldo versus Chad Mendes for fall, possibly on October 27th.

When asked what could happen if the featherweight champ isn’t set to return by October, Fertitta said they would consider putting together an interim title fight. Just as UFC President Dana White said recently, however, Fertitta noted that Aldo isn’t expected to be sidelined for very long.

Aldo last competed in February, at UFC 169, when he scored a unanimous decision win over Ricardo Lamas.
