Report: Ryan Bader Free Agent After PFL Departure
By FCF Staff
Former Bellator heavyweight champ Ryan Bader is a free agent, as the UFC veteran has reportedly parted ways with the PFL.
The 41-year-old Bader (31-8) hasn’t competed since February, 2024, when he was stopped in the first-round by Renan Ferreira. That fight marked the first time Bader had fought under the PFL banner.
According to a recent report from Ariel Helwani, Bader and the PFL have amicably agreed to end their business relationship. Bader reportedly had one fight left on his PFL deal. MMA Junkie is also confirming that Bader is no longer on the PFL roster.
Prior to facing Ferreira, Bader defended Bellator’s heavyweight title by stopping Fedor Emelianenko in February, 2023.
Bader portrayed Mark Coleman in the upcoming, biopic film, about Mark Kerr titled “The Smashing Machine”, starring Dwayne Johnson.
