It looks like another fight is close to being finalized for the UFC’s summer schedule, as it’s being reported that Sean O’Malley and Louis Smolka have agreed to fight.

The bantamweights have reportedly, verbally agreed to throw down at the July 10 UFC 264 card, which will take place in Las Vegas.

Following an initial report from Fight Game Media, MMA Junkie confirmed with a source that a fight between O’Malley and Smolka is planned for the event.

The 29-year-old Smolka (17-7) is coming off a stoppage win over José Alberto Quiñónez in December, and is 3-2 in his last 5 fights.

The 26-year-old O’Malley (13-1) got back on track in March, by knocking out Thomas Almeida. Prior to that, the rising bantamweight was stopped by Marlon Vera.

UFC 264 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena and will feature a rubber match between lightweights Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.
