Report: Sergio Pettis to Fight Vaughan Lee in Octagon Debut
By FCF Staff
Earlier on Tuesday it was reported that Sergio Pettis, the 20 year-old brother of Anthony has signed with the UFC, and it looks like his promotional debut is booked.
According to a follow up report from Combate, Pettis is expected to fight British bantamweight Vaughan Lee, November 16th at UFC 167.
Lee (13-9-1) will be looking to rebound from a second round, submission loss he suffered versus Raphael Assuncao at UFC on FUEL TV 10 in June. The loss followed a decision win he scored over Motonobu Tezuka at a UFC on FUEL TV card in February.
Pettis (9-0) arrives in the UFC having gone undefeated to date, and is coming off a tap-out victory over James Porter at a NAFC card this past weekend.
UFC 167 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will feature welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre taking on Johny Hendricks.
