According to multiple reports, the upcoming December 7th, UFC FN 33 card in Brisbane, Australia has a new bantamweight addition, as Nam Phan will battle Takeya Mizugaki.

Phan (18-11) will be looking to rebound from the unanimous decision loss he suffered versus Dennis Siver at UFC on FOX 5 in December. Prior to the defeat, the TUF vet worked his way to a split decision win over Coler Miller at UFC on FOX 4 last August. The 30 year-old, who was competing at featherweight, is 2-3 in his last five bouts.

Mizugaki (18-7-2) scored an impressive, unanimous decision win over Erik Perez at UFC FN 27 in August, to record his third straight win. The 29 year-old bantamweight has gone 4-1 his previous five fights.

UFC FN 33 will be headlined by a heavyweight tilt between “Bigfoot” Silva and Mark Hunt, and will also feature “Shogun” Rua fighting light-heavyweight James Te Huna in the co-headliner.
