Report: Tanner Boser Dropping Down to LHW, Set to Fight Ion Cutelaba
By FCF Staff
Following Tanner Boser’s loss to Rodrigo Nascimento, it’s being reported the Canadian fighter is moving down from heavyweight to light-heavyweight. In addition, it’s being reported that Boser is set to battle Ion Cutelaba next.
Boser (20-9-1) joined the UFC in 2019 and has gone 4-4 during that time. Most recently, in September, he dropped a split decision to the aforementioned Nascimento.
MMA Fighting is reporting that multiple sources have confirmed that Boser is dropping down to light-heavyweight and will fight Cutelaba (16-9-1) on April 15th.
The latter is coming off a stoppage loss to Kennedy Nzechukwu in November and has dropped three straight.
The April 15th card will take place in Kansas City, and will be headlined by a bout between former featherweight champ, Max Holloway, and surging contender Arnold Allen.
