Over the last year, Tim Kennedy has expressed reservations about his future in fighting, but now the middleweight evidently has a new mission for his UFC career.

Kennedy hasn’t fought since last September, when he incurred a controversial stoppage loss to Yoel Romero. Since then the decorated soldier has said it would take a special bout to get him back in the Octagon.

Recently Kennedy appeared on “The MMA Hour” to promote his new show on the History Channel, “Hunting Hitler”. While doing so, Kennedy reported that he wants to return to the UFC and face fighters who have been caught for performance-enhancing-drugs  (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“I want to go fight every single one of them and beat the brakes off of them and kind of put a big exclamation mark that this is a new era of the sport, that the clean athletes, we’re going to smash every single one of you cheaters that have historically been making all the big money and cheating your way through it.”

Kennedy listed Anderson Silva, Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson as men he’d be interested in fighting. The latter, however, has never been caught for using PEDs. Henderson was permitted to use testosterone-replacement-therapy when the practice was allowed by commissions.

The 36 year-old also said that the UFC has expressed an interest in having Kennedy fight the winner of Belfort-Henderson III, which will take place this Saturday at UFC FN 77.
