Report: Tim Means – Alex Morono Bout Set
By FCF Staff
The UFC continues to add fights to its summer schedule, as it’s being reported the promotion has booked a match-up between welterweights Tim Means and Alex Morono.
Both veteran fighters are looking to get back on track, as Means is coming off a split decision loss to Max Griffin, and Morono was KO’d by Santiago Ponzinibbio in his last outing.
According to a report from MMA Junkie, two sources have confirmed that Means and Morono will battle on May 13th. Currently, the UFC has not announced the fight or the card’s venue and location.
Prior to facing Griffin in October, Means (32-14-1) was submitted by Kevin Holland in June, 2022. That loss snapped a three-fight winning streak for Means,
Morono (22-8), meanwhile, had won four in a row before he was stopped by Ponzinibbio.
Here is the expected line-up so far, for the May 13th event.
Anthony Smith vs. Johnny Walker
Ian Machado Garry vs. Daniel Rodriguez
Jailton Almeida vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik
Mackenzie Dern vs. Angela Hill
Tim Means vs. Alex Morono
