Report: Tito Ortiz Out of Bellator PPV Due to Injury
By FCF Staff
It appears as though Bellator’s November 2nd “Rampage vs. Tito” event has been dealt a significant blow, as Tito Ortiz has reportedly been forced to withdraw due to injury.
According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, the former UFC champ injured his neck in training, and Bellator is searching for a replacement.
The promotion has not made any official announcement regarding the reported injury. Ortiz did relay, however, that something might be wrong today via Instagram.
The 38 year-old Ortiz would have been making his Bellator debut at Long Beach bound event, and was set to fight fellow UFC vet “Rampage” Jackson. The light-heavyweight fight is scheduled to headline the card, which is also going to be Bellator’s first pay-per-view.
The card is also set to feature lightweight champion Michael Chandler taking on Eddie Alvarez.
