Report: TJ Waldburger to Fight Adlan Amagov at UFC 166

Amagov

By FCF Staff

The October 19th, UFC 166 card in Houston, Texas is nearing completion, as TJ Waldburger will reportedly fight welterweight Adlan Amagov at the event.  The upcoming card will be hosted by the city’s Toyota Center.

News of the bout is being reported by CSN Houston.com.

Waldburger (16-7) hasn’t fought since last December, when choked out Nick Catone with a second round, triangle choke. The win returned Waldburger to the winning track, after he lost by unanimous decision to Brian Ebersole last June.

Amagov (12-2-1) made his Octagon debut at UFC on FUEL TV 9 in April, and worked his way to a UD win over Chris Spang. Prior to that, Amagov stopped Keith Berry in the first round, at a Strikeforce card last August.

UFC 166 will be headlined by a rubber match between heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. The co-main-event will see Daniel Cormier take on Roy Nelson.
