Vale Tudo Japan will hold its latest event on October 5th, and it will reportedly feature a bantamweight bout between Dream vet Hideo Tokoro and former UFC competitor Will Campuzano. The card will be hosted by Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.

Tokoro (32-25-2) hasn’t competed since VTJ 2nd in June, when he tapped out Taylor McCorriston with a second round, heel hook. Prior to that he stopped rugged vet Rumina Sato in the first round at VTJ 1st in December. The 36 year-old is 3-2 in his last five fights.

Campuzano (12-4) has won four straight fights since he lost by UD to Chris Cariaso at a UFC “Fight for the Troops” card in 2011. The 27 year-old is coming off a UD win over Allan Nascimento at a Legacy FC card in April.

News of the Tokoro-Campuzano bout was reported by MMA Weekly.com. The upcoming October 5th card will also feature Japanese stars Megumi Fujii and Caol Uno, however, their opponents have not been announced.
